Your points are closely valid. I was younger and note easily taken in then. I gave thought several times about thinking the piece entirely, but I thought it better to reply to your valid criticisms than to just take it down.

I was momentarily sucked in by “Fellowship University and Dr. Richard Paley” but if you try to search for him or his university, you come up with only references to http://objectiveministries.org. and little else. Their campaign against Landover Baptists and the story about wanting to put a giant crucifix on the moon suggests to me that it is an elaborate hoax. The people who put together the Landover site are the probable culprits. I really don’t see the need to fabricate this stuff because there is no shortage of real Young Earth Creationist silliness out there.

In the newest version of Ubuntu, LibreOffice is default replacing OpenOffice. I haven’t switched to the new version yet, but I did view a review on YouTube about a month ago to see the differences.
